Hey Guys!
I can not wait to start out my second semester of the Elementary Education program at Appalachian State University! I can not wait to be finished and out of school so that I can start my career doing what I love more than anything else in this world, teaching! I was previously enrolled in a nursing program which I declined because I realized that my heart was not in it. I want a job that I will wake up excited for and wanting to start my day. I can not wait to see my beautiful, bright students every day and be blessed to teach not only the facts but teach values as well. I am currently working as a substitute teacher and it has truly opened my eyes to the blessings, heartaches and challenging tasks that this career will bring, but I feel that I am ready for the challenge.
I am looking forward to this semester and I know it is going to be a lot of hard work, but I am ready to learn and spend time with this family of friends we have created. 🙂
